Module 3 - Application Settings

Video Summary

  • Application Settings location:

    • Found under Settings → Applications with multiple tabs across the top.


Application Forms Tab

  • Contains the main application link (static, does not change).

  • Displays and provides access to the three application forms (Family, Guardian, Student).

  • Allows you to open and edit each form’s content.


Confirmations Tab

  • Controls the confirmation screen shown immediately after submission.

  • Features:

    • Shown to applicant in the browser after they submit the application
    • Fully customizable text editor (formatting, images, links, etc.).

    • Common use: include a link to a payment form (e.g., application fee).

  • Limitations:

    • Screen is temporary (user cannot return after leaving).

    • Limited to  include only one key link/action.

  • Separate confirmations exist for:

    • Family applications

    • Student applications (used by existing families adding new students)


Student Application Context

  • Used when current families apply for additional students.

  • Accessible via:

    • Direct link

    • User profile settings

  • Admins can guide users via knowledge base resources.


Notification Subscribers

  • Define which admins receive email notifications when:

    • An application is started

    • An application is submitted


Applicant Emails (Approval/Decline)

  • Prebuilt email templates sent when applications are:

    • Approved

    • Declined

  • Templates:

    • Auto-populate during decision process

    • Can be edited before sending

    • Save time by avoiding repetitive writing


Affirmation Tab

  • Adds a required checkbox at the start of the application.

  • Purpose:

    • Ensure applicants acknowledge a statement or requirement before proceeding.

  • Features:

    • Customizable main statement (e.g., confirm attendance at a meeting)

    • Optional detailed description below the checkbox

  • Use cases:

    • Communicate important notices (e.g., grade-level availability)

    • Require acknowledgment of policies or prerequisites

  • Note:

    • Not enforceable beyond checkbox acknowledgment (users can still check without compliance)
