FAQ - What do I do if I get locked out trying to verify my ACH account?
Our payment processor, Stripe, requires verification of 2 microdeposits in your bank account. 3 failed tries locks your account. Contact Stripe Support to get unlocked.
Stripe will send 2 micro-deposit amounts to the customer’s bank account, with a statement descriptor that reads “ACCTVERIFY”.
See our article/video - How to add a Payment Method - Bank Account
-
These micro-deposit transfers can take 1-2 business days to appear in a customer’s bank account.
-
The customer will have 3 attempts for amount-based microdeposits to complete bank account verification.
-
If the maximum number of attempts to verify your bank account information has been met, you have the option to delete the payment method and start over or ask your school admin to contact Stripe Support for additional assistance.
