FAQ - Why are my ClassReach Notifications emails coming from another person?

This is likely a local email app or provider problem

We've had reports of notifications@classreach.com emails being renamed when they arrive in the inbox such that it looks like another ClassReach user (a parent, guardian, teacher) sent the email.  Based on the examples we've seen, this appears to be happening at the email receiver's account.  Here's one example -

A parent was using Apple Mail and the Apple Contacts was assigning notifications@classreach.com to a person's contact card.  This was fixed by the parent going into the Contacts app on her Mac, pulling up the name and removing the notifications@classreach.com email from that contact.

It's possible that this is caused by Gmail settings.  We're continuing to research, so if you have the situation come up and you are willing to help us troubleshoot, please contact ClassReach Support.
