When are announcements sent to the next school year's users?
In ClassReach, announcement notifications and messages have different criteria as to when they are sent.
Announcements run on an August 1st to August 1st timeline, i.e. announcements for the upcoming school year will be sent by notification to the upcoming school year's users on August 1st. Currently this is not editable.
Messages however are determined by enrollment of a student in an academic term. Admins can send a message to their upcoming users by selecting "All Users 2026-2027" for example with no time constraints. Users will receive this message as long as they have a student enrolled in that same academic term.

Years available are determined by the drop down at the bottom of the left sidebar. The year selected and the next year will be the options available in messages.
