Video Summary

Purpose of the Transfer Tab

  • Add info from prior schools:

    • Previous courses

    • Grades

    • Credits

    • GPA data

  • Allows transfer courses to appear on transcripts

Adding Transfer Records

  • Select:

    • Previous academic term

    • Course name

    • Numeric grade (required)

    • Optional letter grade

    • Credits earned

    • Previous school name

Transcript & GPA Options

  • Transfer records can:

    • Appear on transcripts

    • Affect GPA calculations

  • Requires credits if GPA is included

GPA Handling

  • Can use:

    • Standard GPA scale

    • Honors/AP GPA scale

    • Custom GPA override

  • Custom GPA override should be used cautiously

Additional Options

  • Add custom transcript markings if needed

  • Hide advanced options when entering simpler records

Multiple Years of Transfers

  • Supports adding:

    • Multiple courses

    • Multiple academic years

    • Full transfer histories

Transcript Integration

  • Transfer records can appear seamlessly on transcripts

  • Reports page allows:

    • Including/excluding transfer records

    • Including/excluding previous school names

Internal School Use

  • Transfer tab can also be used for adding historical coursework from your own school if needed

  • Complex cases may require support assistance
