An Overview of ClassReach Messages
The messaging feature is a valuable way to contact anyone within ClassReach. Teachers and admins can effortlessly send messages to students, guardians and staff. Email notifications are also sent to the registered email address whenever a message is received in ClassReach.
As an admin, you have the ability to send mass messages to varying roles, meaning you can type into the Recipient field - 'All Users', ‘All Guardians’, ‘All Teachers’, ‘All Students’ or any combination of these, and the message will go to all active users with that role. You also have the option to send to 'All Guardians' and 'All Students' of one or more Academic Level.
Guardians are always copied on all messages received and sent by their students.
Teachers can send messages to individuals, and mass messages to parents and students of the sections they are teaching. Guardians CANNOT send mass messages.
All Users can create their own Message Groups. For example, they may create a group for a PTO or athletic teams.
Admins that are also Guardians and Teachers are able to send messages to all group options regardless of their role. Admin privileges take precedence over Teacher/Guardian permissions.
