ClassReach ACH and CC Fees options, Progress Report performance improvements, User Interface Improvements, and several bug fixes were the focus of our March 2023 releases:
ClassReach ACH and CC Fees absorption option
Schools now have more options to handle the ClassReach ACH and Credit Card Fees associated with their Stripe payment processing. Rather than having to choose both types be absorbed by the school or the customer, schools may not choose separately. For example, your school may prefer to absorb the ACH fees and elect for the customer to absorb the Credit Card fees. That is now an option.
Please contact ClassReach Support to discuss or make changes for your school.
Progress Reports Performance Improvements
Progress Reports are a consolidation of a lot of different data sources such as grades, attendance, conduct, averages, etc. which require a great dealing of processing. We were experiencing slowness and errors upon running progress reports in bulk at the academic or school level. Performance improvements have been put in place so that these reports can be run in a timely manner and without error.
User Interface (UI) Improvements
We are continually looking for ways to improve the user experience within ClassReach and we listen carefully to your feedback as well as notice confusion we may be seeing in support tickets and do our best to respond with improvements:
- Settings Improvements - We consolidated all settings related to Applications to a single page called Applications within People Settings. There was some confusion when Application Forms were on the People Forms page. This new alignment should help clarify that those forms are directly tied to the Application process.
- Addition of School Name to Application emails - With so much email hitting our inboxes, it is easy to ignore or overlook generic subject lines. Emails as important as Application emails should be very clear and by including the school's name. Schools have found a better response rate and less confusion with their applying families now. We hope you'll experienced the same. Sample Application email below:
- Progress Report continuation headers - For lengthy progress reports that continued onto a 2nd page, a section would often continue without any headers; changes have been made to include all headers for the section that continues to a 2nd page.
- Parent Home landing page slow to render or timing out - Similar to progress reports - the Home page consolidates a lot of information from a variety of sources requiring extensive processing. Improvements were made so that the Quick Access section would render fast and not error or time out. Below is a sample of the page working as designed.
Bug Fixes - Thank you for your patience!
- Hyperlinks Admins added without https:// to areas such as Financial Agreements, were pre-pending classreach.com and thus became erroneous links for the end user. This was corrected and now links work properly whether or not they have a https included.
- School Address on Transcripts incomplete - some school addresses were not displaying/printing completely on Transcripts. This issue has been corrected.
