February 2026 Product Release Notes
February was focused on several enhancements to the new Standards-Based Grading feature as well as small customer-requested enhancements
Standards-based Grading (Basic Tier and above feature) – Improved the user experience for updating standards at the section level.
Academic Level Auto-Advance – We added the ability for a school to opt-out of auto-advancing students to the next academic level. (auto-advance generally happens 1X year) This feature is important for schools that don’t follow a “traditional” academic level advancement process, such as technical schools, schools with multiple ages in the same academic level (1st-2nd graders in same level for example) or school on irregular terms.
System Performance – We optimized features improving performance:
- Quick Access feature on the Guardian/Student home page
- Cumulative Grade Report
Bug Fixes - Thank you for your patience!
Adding grades –Teacher were experiencing errors trying to add a grade to the gradebook. This was corrected immediately with a Hotfix.
Directory – Certain situations caused the Directory menu item to appear for Teachers when no Directories had been enabled. Users could not access any data, but the existence of the link was confusing. This has been resolved.
Forms – There was an EDIT button on the Custom Forms page that was non-functional and caused confusion. The button was removed.
Transcripts – attempting to create a Transcript report was causing an error. This has been corrected.
Announcements – Past Announcements page was not showing the complete list. This has been corrected.
