Creating/Editing Calendar Events

This article explains how to create and/or edit a calendar event for your school along with the various options. This will be done in the Admin role.

You can create a calendar event as an Admin for the school. You can designate the event to a single Course/Section, multiple Course/Sections, the entire school, or just to your own calendar. This article will discuss how to set up the different options.

 

 

  • Sign in to your Admin ClassReach account.
  • Navigate to the Calendar tab at the top of the screen.

To Create a New Event

  • Click the +New Event button at the top right of the window.
  • Fill out all relevant fields. 
    • Event Title: This will be the title and how it appears on the calendar.
    • All Day: This will determine if it is an all day event or an event with a start and end time.
    • Start/ End Time: This is to set times for the event.
    • Section: If this is an event you would like to show up on the calendars of the students and guardians of a section, set it here. Otherwise, the event will only show on your calendar.
    • Where: Here you can set a location.
    • Description: Here is a good place to add details or reminders.
  • Once all fields are complete, click Save.

To Edit a Current Event

  • The current month’s calendar will load here.
  • Use the Left and Right arrow icons at the top left of the window to navigate to different months.
  • Click on an Event to expand it and show the details.
  • Click Edit Event at the bottom right of the window.
  • Edit all desired fields.
  • Once all fields are complete, click Save.
