Creating a Messaging Group

Creating a messaging group allows you to bulk email a select group of users within ClassReach

As an admin, there may be groups of people you would like to bulk email that are not automatic groups within ClassReach (i.e. Grade levels, All Guardians, etc...).  Examples may be students in a sport or extracurricular activity within your school.

In order to bulk email this subset of users, you can create a Messaging Group.

To create a Messaging Group:

1.  Select the Messages tab on your toolbar.

2. Select Messaging Groups.

3. Select +New Group.

4.  Name your group and add your recipients.

5.  Save your group.

6.  If you want to send a message to this group, in the "To" field of the composed message, type in the first two letters of the Messaging Group and the group will appear.
