August 2023 Product Release Notes

ClassReach will begin offering a new Payment Processing option with lower merchant fees and fewer monthly transaction limits.

New Payment Processing option for Basic, Pro and Enterprise schools.
We have begun Beta testing with a new Payment Processor, Gravity Payments.
Negotiated lower merchant fees and no ClassReach fees will greatly benefit both schools and families and is sure to be a win for our Basic, Pro and Enterprise schools. The plan is to finish beta testing in November and begin the process of migrating qualifying schools from Stripe to Gravity beginning in January 2024 and continuing for several months. More information will be provided in late 2023, early 2024.

Welcome emails :

New feature – welcome emails at the family level– A frequently requested feature -the ability to send Welcome emails at the family level within ClassReach is now available. The feature is available as part of the Basic pricing package or above. Contact sales@classreach.com to upgrade now! Check out this Knowledge Base Article with all the details:

Enhancement – In Awaiting Email filter, eliminate users without email addresses – Often times, students and other users don’t have emails entered in the system and therefore can’t receive a welcome email and yet they would show up in the filtered list. We have improved this functionality to eliminate those users so you will only see viable users awaiting welcome emails.

Progress Report changes for Non-family schools :
Schools with adult education, not using our family/guardian feature, did not want to see a signature line for guardians on their progress reports. This has been completed.

Announcements have new text editor :
We have upgraded the text editor in our Announcements feature. You have more font options, and links which will open in a new browser window to make announcements more dynamic.

Bug Fixes - Thank you for your patience!

Financial Agreements – error when signing – several schools were experiencing an error when families attempted to sign their financial agreements, but the transactions were still working. This issues has been corrected and the error eliminated.

School Billing page doesn’t load – Schools who also had invoices directly from Stripe and not just in ClassReach were experiencing this issue. The issue has been resolved.

Quick Enroll duplicate students – It was possible to accidently double-click during Quick Enroll which would create duplicate students showing up in course sections. This issue has been addressed and resolved.
