April was focused on some small enhancements and bug fixes. After several months of concentrating on large new features, we always like to spend time on some nice small wins and bug clean up.
Class Rank Settings update – We have updated the text to better explain how class rankings are calculated and how they related to the settings.
SMS Texting Improvements – Beta testing has identified some nice improvements on the people page, reporting and the Needs Attention reminders.
Gravity Payments – Merchant Fee language on Autopay Authorization – We aligned the autopay authorization verbiage with the merchant fees in Gravity to give users an accurate understanding of what they were agreeing to.
Import error rollback – If a data import has an error, we added logic to gracefully rollback to where the data was prior to the start of the import.
Check for form conditional logic prior to field deletions – If a form field is deleted that is tied to any conditional logic elsewhere, this can cause a messy problem. We added logic to check for this a identify the area for the user so they could address it before allowing a field to be deleted.
Bug Fixes - Thank you for your patience!
Duplicate application fees – There was a possibility during a rare database timeout situation, that a customer could be charged an application fee twice. More robust error handling was put in place to prevent this from happening.
User Import Timeouts – Large import files could cause a timeout error. This has been handled and resolved.
Academic Year configuration duplicates –A unique timing scenario could cause an academic year to duplicate. This has been resolved.
Password Reset page not working – A recent code change broke the reset page. This issue was resolved.
