Module 2 - The User Profile Form

 

Video Summary

A user can choose to "View Profile", and view or update any of the information on their User Profile page. This form determines what shows up on that page. By letting the user update their own information, administrators no longer have to retrieve that information themselves. This form links directly to the User Info Form so that school data can be kept in sync as users update their own info.

Tips

  • This form should ONLY include linked fields, sections or pages.  DO NOT include and unlinked fields as you won't be able to see them as an admin
  • Check the Advanced Tab for all the pages, sections and fields to ENSURE that applicability, visibility and edit-ability is correct for each role - Teacher, Guardian and Students.  Primarily ensure that students can't edit data that you don't want them to edit (which is likely all or most of it).
