October 2025 Product Release Notes
In October we worked on Calendar, Conduct Items and many adjustments to the Gradebook.
New and Improved
Added Ability to Order Conduct Item Values - In Settings >Conduct Items, admins will now be able to arrange the values/grades for Conduct Item into the order of their choice. If a new conduct item value is added, it is added to the end of the list.
Calendar Events and Announcements - Added Scrolling Feature - Guardians, Students and Teachers can now scroll down to read the entire description when clicking on calendar events - on the calendar as well as the right nav bar calendar event area. This is also now available for announcements on the right nav bar.
Calendar - Section Dropdown - increased number of items listed - When adding an item to the calendar, admins and teachers have the option to select specific applicable sections for the calendar item. The dropdown to select sections was only listing 10 sections and no more. This limit has been removed.
New Homework - Added Grading Unit Selector - Teachers now have the same option to choose the grading unit (eg, Q1, Q2, Q3...) for a new homework assignment on the CREATE homework pop-up as they do on the EDIT homework pop-up.
Gradebook - Switching to the Next Grading Unit - during the changeover from one quarter (Grading Unit) to the next, it was switching based on the end date of the previous quarter. That has been changed to now switch to the next Grading Unit on the first date of the new Grading Unit.
Bug Fixes - Thank you for your patience!
Data Copier - Grading Unit Group not copying Academic Levels - when data copying Grading Unit Groups from one Academic Term to the next, it will now also include the applicable Academic Levels as part of the copy.
Pending Form Responses not removed when form deactivated - a ClassReach form with the setting "one response per user" automatically generates a pending response for every user that shows up under “Requiring Your Attention.” If a user does not complete the form, the notification was remaining indefinitely. This notification to complete the form will now be removed from the user once the form is deactivated.
Misleading warning on Grades page upon logout - When a teacher or admin was on the Grades page (any tab) and attempted to logout, they were sometimes receiving a warning message that "Changes you made may not be saved." This was unnecessary and has been removed.
SMS Texting Charging Incorrectly - a few schools were charged for additional SMS Credits in error. This was fixed and refunded.
Gradebook Print Error - when attempting to print a gradebook with Extra Credit points, the report would not run. It is printing correctly now.
Directory - Family Page Showing When Not Enabled - bug fixed.
Guardian/Student Gradebook - comments ^ not functioning correctly - Graded Item comments were not visible and the ^ didn't work. This is working correctly now.
Guardian/Student Gradebook missing Grading Unit Tabs - This was fixed.
Teacher Gradebook: Last Comment not saving - when a teacher was entering comments for a Graded Item, the last comment would disappear and not save when clicking away from the page.
