June 2024 Product Release Notes

New Directory updates:

·         Added Academic level and name filters to the Family and Student directories

·         To improve load speed, we added pagination to the directories.

·         Sorting by directory columns was added.

·         Added a “loading” icon to directory if it takes more than a few seconds to load to improve the user experience.

Mobile Phone visible for teachers – This is helpful for teachers on their course section pages for quick access to contact guardians.

Mobile App improvements – Added a permanent link for users to be able to transfer to the web app via the mobile app even if they don’t have any notifications.

Calendar Events get new text editor - The new editor enables more features like colored text and highlights, links and other advanced options.

Student Transfer Page – added more validations and updated some field labels to increase the accuracy in improve clarity of the student transfer data.

Error message for missing Family ID in user import – It was difficult to tell why an import failed because there was no corresponding message indicating the import file was missing the Family ID, which is a required field.

Improve messaging and validation during Student role deletion – When removing a student role, either accidentally or updating a student’s role from Student to perhaps teacher, will cause all grades to be lost. We added a warning message and confirmation process to ensure the admin is confident with their choice.

Notification Hover-over – Added the ability to hover over the course name on a notification so the user can see the full course name easily.

Grade Notifications – comments – added comments from the teacher on grade notifications.

Bug Fixes - Thank you for your patience!

Financial Batch Upload description – Modified the description of charges posted to customer accounts to reflect the Name of the batch rather than just a generic “batch upload”.

Progress Reports – When a school chooses to hide numeric averages on the report, they were still showing parenthesis – we removed those parentheses.
